Norris Bain

Minister of Housing during Grenada Revolution executed on Bloody Wednesday

A Grenada business man and NJM supporter, Norris Bain served as Minister of Housing during the Grenada Revolution.

On the morning of October 19, 1983, Norris Bain and Lyden Ramdhanny organized bus-loads of civilians to St. Georges to protest Grenada Prime Minister Maurice Bishop’s house arrest.

Later that morning, Norris Bain joined Bishop at Fort Rupert and was ultimately one of the seven (7) people executed on Bloody Wednesday.
