Major Einstein Louison served as chief of staff in the People's Revolutionary Army (PRA) during the Grenada Revolution. During the last few months of the revolution, he stood out as the only top military officer who was a pro-Bishop supporter.
As internal party conflicts continued within the NJM in October 1983, he was accused of ‘trying to divide the army' by fellow officers of the PRA and on October 13 1983 was placed under house arrest.
Einstein Louison is the brother of George Louison.
