Teddy Victor was a Grenadian and a co-founder of  J.E.W.E.L. (Joint Endeavor for the Welfare and Education Liberation), a Grenada-based organization created to generate employment opportunities for Grenadians in the 1970s during the reign of Eric Gairy.

In October 1980 Victor was the first member of the New Jewel Movement to be imprisoned by the People’s Revolutionary Government.

Teddy Victor died in 2008.
