In Grenada the Mongoose Gang was an infamous group of henchmen who had a reputation of being Eric Gairy’s personal group of thugs.

The gang’s main objective was to intimidate and attack those who opposed Gairy, particularly key members of the New Jewel Movement (NJM) who the gang spent much of their time harassing.
