Jackie Creft was a founding member of the New Jewel Movement who became minister of Education and Culture of the People's Revolutionary Government during the Grenada Revolution.
Creft had an intimate relationship with Maurice Bishop and was the mother of Bishop's son, Vladimer. She was executed alongside Bishop on Bloody Wednesday: October 19, 1983.
