Grenada's Premier from 1967 to 1974 and then Prime Minister from 1974 until 1979 when he was overthrown in a coup.

Sir Eric Matthew Gairy was Grenada's Premier from 1967 to 1974 and later following Grenada's independence from Britain, served as Grenada's first Prime Minister from 1974 to 1979.
