People&#8217;s Revolutionary Army (PRA) who served as the political commissar of the armed forces.<\/p>\n<p>A loyal supporter of Bernard Coard, Stroude was the senior officer on duty at Fort Rupert on October 19, 1983 when Maurice Bishop and his supporters were killed.<\/p>\n<p>As one of the Grenada 17, Stroude was imprisoned in 1986 for his role in the events of that Bloody Wednesday.\u00a0 He was
